I have often times faced situations in my work place or at social gatherings with friends where Andhrites project a terrible image of the Telangana dialect. I am enraged, but I notice many fellow Telanganites who change their dialect to be more "acceptable". We collectively should stand up against even simple things such as Andhrites poking fun at our language, culture and background. And make sure to pass this on to your children - they should be proud to be a Telanganite, and not mould themselves so they are not joked about!
Along with big changes, let us also focus on little aspects of this revolution as well.
I wish when somebody replied to a particular message; hope that message is displayed in the same thread rather end the bottom of the topic. Look at the message boards on rediff.com to see what I am talking about. Specially it would be useful with somany anonymous users.
I am not sure its poosible; but if it is possible it would be great.

I see some users(Srinath and others) post their posts in Telugu. How do they do it? Do they generate Telugu content in sites like http://www.telugulekha.com/mail/trans.htm or http://quillpad.in/telugu/ or http://lekhini.org/ then copy paste the content here(See below I copy/pasted my name in Telugu). OR do they use use some other tools on this site?
Microsoft introduced Telugu Unicode since Win XP. If your PC is running with Win XP or Vista, please do the following:
Start->settings-> Control panel-> click on Regional Language Option icon
- Click LANGUAGE tab
This is two step process:
Step 1:
- In supplemental Language support, check X (Install files for complex script right-to-left
( This may ask you to insert your Win XP disk, if the dll are not loaded at the installation time)
( Basically Microsoft installs the uniscribe DLL programs and the Gautami OTC font for telugu)
Step 2:
from language tab again:
In the top portion : Text Services & Input languages
- click DETAILs button.
- from Settings tab - Install service, click 'Add' button.
- click the Inpt langauge drop-down button.
I would like to take this opportunity, to welcome everybody to openly discuss. What are different castes ? why do we have so many differences?
How can we resolve our differences?. Iam not talking about just FC, BC, ST SC but Kamma, Kapu, Reddy's, Goud etc. Where dow e end up having these differnces and is it really the caste or the money that brings these differences..?

Do anybody know how to search the ourtelangana.com site? For examples searching the articles of particular author OR a keyword in an article etc. Do we have search utility on this site?
Currently I could use google to search this web site. For eg: I could search all the articles on ourtelangana.com that talks about Devender Goud using following link.
There is so much concern among the people about caste politics. And the same time, the new memebers getting added to goud party are from TRS and other political parties. And everybody percieves it as a caste based move. Goud made it clear he would add members who are considered Medhavis, now the new memebrs are Medhavis or just his caste members?. Its a tough question and very contracdictory,I believe we must resolve our issues before the news gets hyped. We would armed and ready for explanations everywhere.
