Telangana History -An Open Book

Telangana region was mentioned in the Mahabharata as the Telinga Kingdom which said to be inhabitted by the tribe known as Telavana and said to have fought on the Pandava side in the great war of Mahabharata.

Telangana region has been ruled by many great dynasties like Sathavahanas, Chalukyas, Kakatiyas, Mughals, and the Qutubshahis. As the Mughal Empire began to disintegrate in the early 18th century, the Muslim Asafjahi dynasty established a separate state known as Hyderabad. Later Hyderabad entered into a treaty of subsidiary alliance with the British Empire, and was the largest and most populous princely state in India. Telangana was never under direct British rule, unlike Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions of Andhra Pradesh, which were part of British India's Madras Presidency.

Search for Andhra pradesh in the Pdf file to find relevant points. Particularly how constitutional power of Panchayat's has been subverted through parallel programs like Janmabhoomi and lack of accountability.
The table starting on Page 54 provides an excellent summary.

Its useless to think about him. After he became CM, Ranga Reddy District was born.  But I will tell you something.... After he dead TDP allotted some 4 or 6 acres of land next to Indra Park...and I don't know who visit there? After some year you will not wonder some xyz will come and occupy this place by saying that land was given to them by Nawab or some Rao Bahadur.

The Myth - Falsehood of Telinga Kingdom is being spread by some anti telugu unity people....  There is no reference to Telinga in Mahabharata or any other ancient Puranic or Historical text.... The only reference is

"During the southern  military campaign of Pandavas... Sahadeva is mentioned to have defeated a Tribe called TALAVANAS   - which is being misreprespresented as Telinga   - unfortunately there is no reference to Telinga tribe .... But there is a clear mention of ANDHRAs   so this myth of Telinga is all bull shit... just to deviate people from developmental issues & to propogate their  own  political agendas.
